About Us

Sapientia 8 without background (1).png

What's in a name?

Sapientia is Latin for "wisdom."  It is the highest of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that which ties us to the heart of Jesus. It provides us with knowledge and understanding, and judgement regarding divine things.

What do we do?

We run series of talks on different theological themes in your home parish or group meeting place. This could be an evening a week over four weeks, a weekend afternoon once or twice a year, or a whole day event.  We do all the work so that you just need to decide what you'll serve with a cup of tea during the refreshment period.

Our talks are designed to engage listeners' hearts and minds so that they leave inspired to follow more firmly the path of their vocation to live the Gospel.  There is time for discussion and Q&A built into all our events, and time for community building during the refreshment period.
